Abstract  Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of wireless communications and in particular to a power control method and device for simultaneously transmitting multiple SRSs on multiple uplink carriers in the same symbol and performing power control when a sum of transmitting power of the multiple SRSs on the multiple uplink carriers exceeds maximum transmitting power of a UE. The method provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises: when a sum of transmitting power of multiple SRSs to be transmitted simultaneously in the same symbol exceeds maximum transmitting power of a UE reducing transmitting power of at least one SRS so that the sum of the transmitting power of the multiple SRSs is not greater than the maximum transmitting power of the UE after the reduction of the transmitting power. In the embodiments of the present invention transmitting power of an SRS is reasonably reduced thereby ensuring that a sum of transmitting power of multiple SRSs does not exceed maximum transmitting power of a UE ensuring that a base station can obtain channel status information of multiple uplink carriers in time and improving accuracy of uplink scheduling.
