Abstract  Abstract

The embodiments of the present invention provide methods for blind channel detection and for channel allocation a user equipment (UE) and a communication apparatus. When a UE has the capability for receiving or transmitting at least two component carriers the method includes: obtaining the Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) search space-related information of the UE from a network side the search space-related information belonging to one of at least two search spaces with different sizes; determining one PDCCH search space of the UE according to the obtained PDCCH search space-related information of the UE; and performing blind detection according to the determined one PDCCH search space of the UE. In the technical schemes provided by the embodiments of the present invention the scheduling information for the UE in a plurality of cells is informed to the UE in a master cell which improves the utility efficiency of the radio resources of the system and meanwhile the UE can only detect the control channel from the master cell which saves the time and power for detecting control signalings. The implementation of the present invention achieves the blind detection of the UE in the carrier aggregation scenario.
