A method for emergency call is disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention which comprises: a user equipment UE initiates an emergency attaching request to an evolved network SAE network the said emergency attaching request includes an emergency indication; after receiving the said emergency indication the said SAE network chooses an emergency call serving entity for the said UE; after emergently attaching to the said SAE network the said UE transmits the said emergency call request to the said emergency call serving entity; the said emergency call serving entity establishes an emergency voice bearer the said UE makes an emergency call based on the said established emergency voice bearer. A method for accomplishing the simulated circuit domain emergency call with the emergency call serving entity in the evolved network is provided in the embodiments of the present invention so that the emergency call service in SAE/LTE packet network is realized.
