Abstract  Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method for realizing voice service continuity and the method includes the following steps: when the terminal moves from IP network to the neighboring CS network the terminal initiates VCC process and switches from the voice session based on IMS in the IP network to CS voice session based on eMSC and then switches from the CS voice session based on eMSC obtained by switching to CS voice session in the neighboring CS network. The embodiment of the invention also provides a method and terminal equipment for realizing IMS service continuity. The embodiment of the invention realizes that the continuity of voice session is held when the terminal moves between IP network and CS network and that the continuity of service is held when the terminal moves between IP network A and IP network B.
