Abstract  Abstract

A polling method is provided which includes: mobile terminal receives polling request from network device for the reception status of downlink data. Said polling request includes control information about starting position of the reception status of downlink data transmitted by mobile terminal and the transmission mode; said mobile terminal transmits parts of reception status requested by the polling request to the network device according to the transmission mode the network device requests. A polling system a mobile terminal and a network device are also provided. Realizing that network device can make the mobile terminal transmit piggybacked ACK/NACK message and reserving the option that mobile terminal can transmit the reception status of downlink data by sending packet data downlink ACK/NACK message containing NPB provide a nice work in the case of both large and small window a more flexible solution than prior art and a higher utilizing rate of air interface.
