Abstract
A method system base station and terminal for processing the reference symbol can support to transfer the common reference symbol and the user dedicated reference symbol synchronously. In the present invention the transmitting end configures the reference symbol structure for the downlink sub-frame according to the used antenna number; the transmitting end inserts the common reference symbol and the user dedicated reference symbol which will be transmitted into the downlink sub-frame according to the reference symbol structure and transmits them. The present invention can support to transfer the common reference symbol and the user dedicated reference symbol synchronously.
