Abstract  Abstract

A method for processing the re-authorisation based on the charging of the packet data flow includes the following steps: TPF obtains the re-authorisation event information; when TPF monitors the re-authorisation event triggers requesting OCS to re-authenticate the user. According to the method of the present invention the reauthorization event is stored in TPF in advance or is provided to TPF by OCS thereby enabling TPF to obtain the re-authorisation event to be monitored exactly. TPF monitors the re-authorisation event trigger when the re-authorisation event happens TPF requests OCS to re-authenticate the user. OCS calculates the credit of the user again and returns the calculated credit of the user to TPF. In this manner the reauthorization flow based on the charging of the packet data flow is more clearly by adding the provision manner of the reauthorization event.
