Abstract
A method for receiving a broadcasting signal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises receiving, from a base station (BS), a physical broadcasting channel (PBCH) content over a PBCH, and determining the PBCH content including a payload, wherein the payload includes uncommon information within a transmission time interval (TTI) of the PBCH that comprises at least a portion of a 10-bit system frame number (SFN), a half frame index within a radio frame, and at least part of a synchronization signal (SS) block time index.

Claim
1. A user equipment (UE) for receiving a broadcasting signal in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
a transceiver configured to receive, from a base station (BS), a physical broadcasting channel (PBCH) content over a PBCH; and at least one processor configured to determine the PBCH content including a payload, wherein the payload includes uncommon information within a transmission time interval (TTI) of the PBCH that comprises at least a portion of a 10-bit system frame number (SFN), a half frame index within a radio frame, and at least part of a synchronization signal (SS) block time index.
2. The UE of claim 1, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to determine the payload including configuration information for a remaining minimum system information (RMSI) transmission, the configuration information including at least one of frequency resource configuration information or time resource configuration information for a control resource set (CORESET) for the RMSI transmission.
3. The UE of claim 1, wherein:
the transceiver is further configured to receive the PBCH content using a transmission scheme based on a single antenna port, and the single antenna port used for PBCH content transmission is the same as the single antenna port used for a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) transmission.
4. The UE of claim 1, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to determine an RMSI content including the payload that comprises at least one of configuration information or part of the configuration information for a tracking reference signal (TRS), the configuration information including at least one of a number of antenna ports, a periodicity, or a timing offset.
5. The UE of claim 1, wherein the transceiver is further configured to receive, from the BS, an RMSI content including at least one of configuration information or part of the configuration information for TRS over a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH).
6. The UE of claim 1, wherein:
the at least one processor is further configured to determine physical random access channel (PRACH) information including a format of a PRACH preamble, the format of the PRACH preamble including at least one of a preamble sequence length or a numerology; and the transceiver is further configured to transmit, to the BS, the PRACH preamble based on the PRACH information.
7. The UE of claim 6, wherein the preamble sequence length comprises at least one OFDM symbol and the numerology comprises a set of parameters that is used for at least one of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) or a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH).
8. A base station (BS) for transmitting a broadcast signal in a wireless communication system, the BS comprising:
at least one processor configured to:
generate a payload including uncommon information within a transmission time interval (TTI) of a physical broadcasting channel (PBCH) comprising at least a portion of a 10-bit system frame number (SFN), a half frame index within a radio frame, and at least part of a synchronization signal (SS) block time index; and
determine a PBCH content including the generated payload; and
a transceiver configured to transmit the PBCH content to a user equipment (UE) over a PBCH.
9. The BS of claim 8, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
determine configuration information for a remaining minimum system information (RMSI) transmission, the configuration information including at least one of frequency resource configuration information or time resource configuration information for a control resource set (CORESET) for the RMSI transmission; and generate the payload including the configuration information.
10. The BS of claim 8, wherein:
the transceiver is further configured to transmit the PBCH content using a transmission scheme based on a single antenna port, and the single antenna port used for PBCH content transmission is the same as the single antenna port used for a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) transmission.
11. The BS of claim 8, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
generate the payload including at least one of configuration information or part of the configuration information for a tracking reference signal (TRS), the configuration information including at least one of a number of antenna ports, a periodicity, or a timing offset; and determine an RMSI content including the generated payload.
12. The BS of claim 8, wherein the transceiver is further configured to transmit, to a UE, an RMSI content including at least one of configuration information or part of the configuration information for TRS over a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH).
13. The BS of claim 8, wherein:
the at least one processor is further configured to generate physical random access channel (PRACH) information including a format of a PRACH preamble, the format of the PRACH preamble including at least one of a preamble sequence length or a numerology; and the transceiver is further configured to receive, from the UE, the PRACH preamble based on the PRACH information.
14. The BS of claim 13, wherein the preamble sequence length comprises at least one OFDM symbol and the numerology comprises a set of parameters that is used for at least one of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) or a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH).
15. A method for receiving a broadcasting signal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving, from a base station (BS), a physical broadcasting channel (PBCH) content over a PBCH; and determining the PBCH content including a payload, wherein the payload includes uncommon information within a transmission time interval (TTI) of the PBCH that comprises at least a portion of a 10-bit system frame number (SFN), a half frame index within a radio frame, and at least part of a synchronization signal (SS) block time index.
16. The method of claim 15, further comprising determining the payload including configuration information for a remaining minimum system information (RMSI) transmission, the configuration information including at least one of frequency resource configuration information or time resource configuration information for a control resource set (CORESET) for the RMSI transmission.
17. The method of claim 15, further comprising receiving the PBCH content using a transmission scheme based on a single antenna port, and wherein the single antenna port used for PBCH content transmission is the same as the single antenna port used for a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) transmission.
18. The method of claim 15, further comprising determining an RMSI content including the payload that comprises at least one of configuration information or part of the configuration information for a tracking reference signal (TRS), the configuration information including at least one of a number of antenna ports, a periodicity, or a timing offset.
19. The method of claim 15, further comprising receiving, from the BS, an RMSI content including at least one of configuration information or part of the configuration information for TRS over a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH).
20. The method of claim 15, further comprising:
determining physical random access channel (PRACH) information including a format of a PRACH preamble, wherein the format of the PRACH preamble includes at least one of a preamble sequence length or a numerology; and transmitting, to the BS, the PRACH preamble based on the PRACH information, and wherein the preamble sequence length comprises at least one OFDM symbol and the numerology comprises a set of parameters that is used for at least one of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) or a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH).
