Abstract  Abstract

537 95 SUMMARY This presentation generally provides devices and methods for improved signaling of assistance information for the user unit, UE (User Equipment), in a wireless network. The UE may include a processor circuit configured to generate an assistance information message including a power preference indicator, PPI (Power Preference Indicator) and mobility status information, MMI (Mobility State Information), said PPI and MSI associated with the UE, a signal generation module MAC configured to generate signal (Medium Access Control Control Element), the MAC CE signal including assistance information message and a sanding circuit configured to send the MAC CE signal to an eNB (evolved NodeB) in a wireless network associated with the UE, called MAC CE signal sand on a shared uplink channel UL -SCH (Uplink Shared Channel). The assistance information message can also be generated as a message for radio resource control, RRC (Radio Resource Control) and sent on a shared dedicated control channel for uplink UL-DCCH (Uplink Dedicated Control Channel).
