Abstract
Systems, procedures, and means for synchronization in beamforming systems such as New Radio (NR) are disclosed. A common SYNC channel may be provided for single and multiple beam systems. A SYNC burst structure may be provided in a beam based system. Procedures that enable or support single and multiple beam placement include, for example, common SYNC for TDD and FDD, common SYNC for mixed numerologies, SYNC for wider bandwidth, and single and multiple TRPs Lt; RTI ID = 0.0 > SYNC < / RTI >
