Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transmitting a downlink reference signal in a wireless communication system for supporting a multi-antenna are provided to secure an expanded cyclic prefix configuration to a downlink sub-frame. CONSTITUTION: A part of a common reference signal with respect to 4 or less antenna ports is mapped to a downlink sub-frame including a first slot and a second slot. A channel state information-reference signal(CSI-RS) with respect to 8 or less antenna ports is mapped to the downlink sub-frame according to a pre-set pattern. The downlink sub-frame including the mapped common reference signal and the CSI-RS is transmitted.
