Abstract  Abstract

A method of allocating radio resources in a wireless communication system is provided to effectively use a wireless resource and smoothly perform communication. When data transmitted to a base station is generated, an SR channel is set by 1 so that a terminal requests an uplink wireless resource(S61). When a wireless resource is not allocated from the base station until a timer is expired, the terminal transmits 1 bit information through the SR channel again(S62). When the uplink wireless resource is allocated from the base station, transmission of the 1 bit information is suspended. The terminal transmits the uplink data to the base station through the allocated wireless resource(S63). When the wireless resource is not allocated from the base station, the terminal performs an RACH(Random Access Channel) procedure to request allocation of the wireless resource(S64).
