Abstract  Abstract

A method for receiving a common channel in a wireless communication and a terminal for the same are provided to receive the shared data channel or common channel according to the control information transmitted from a shared control channel. A terminal receives a common channel including control information from the wireless communication. Thereafter, a process for determining the reception of one between the shared data channel or the common channel by means of the control information is performed. Thereafter, according to the control information, a process for receiving the shared data channel or the common channel is performed. The control channel is an HS-SCCH(High Speed Shared Control Channel). The shared data channel is an HS-DSCH(High Speed Dedicated Shared Channel) and the common channel is FACH(Fractional CHannel) or PCH(Paging CHannel). The control information includes the AMC information.
