Abstract
Since the present application relates to the field of wireless communication technology, more particularly, it relates to a method and apparatus for channel encoding. Solves the conventional problem that Polar encoding method of physical broadcast channel does not exist in 5G scenario. The polar mother code length is determined according to the transmission resource of the channel according to the embodiment of the present application, and polar encoding is performed on data to be transmitted on the channel according to the polar mother code length. Acquire target encoding data, process the target encoding data according to the actual bearer length of the transmission resource, and determine encoding data to be transmitted on a channel according to the processed target encoding data. The encoding data is determined according to the actual transmission resource length of the channel according to the embodiment of the present application, and it is ensured that the processed encoded data can be accurately transmitted on the channel.
