Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for creating a PDU (protocol data unit) for layer 2 processing and radio communication.
SOLUTION: A method for radio communication includes generating an extension medium access control (MAC-es) protocol data unit (PDU). The extension MAC-es PDU includes an extension MAC-es service data unit (SDU) and the extension MAC-es SDU includes a segment of an upper-level layer PDU. The method further includes generating an extension MAC-e header associated with the extension MAC-es PDU and associating the extension MAC-e header with the extension MAC-es PDU in order to form an extension MAC-e PDU.
