Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instruct a method and a device for operating a WTRU in a DRX (discontinuous reception) mode adapting a carrier aggregation.

SOLUTION: A PDSCH is received on DLCC of a specified corresponded cell during a cell dedicated active time thus the DLCC is related to an ULCC. A PDCCH is monitored for a DL assignment for the specified corresponded cell and an UL permission corresponding to the ULCC during the cell dedicated active time. In the other scenario a first subset of the CC is constructed for receiving the PDCCH and a second subset of the CC is not constructed for receiving the PDCCH. On the basis of at least PDCCH active time of the CC in the first subset a DRX is adapted to at least one of the CC in the second subset.
