Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for determining pilot information.SOLUTION: A wireless/transmit receive unit (WTRU) receives a plurality of high speed shared control channel (HS-SCCH) resources including RRC configuration information for high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) and the RRC configuration information includes dedicated pilot information associated with each received HS-SCCH resource. The WTRU detects a high speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) radio network transmission identifier (H-RNTI) associated with the WTRU in one of the plurality of HS-SCCH resources. The WTRU determines pilot information, on the basis of the dedicated pilot information and the one of the plurality of HS-SCCH resources, for a high speed physical downlink shared channel (HS-PDSCH) associated with the one of the plurality of HS-SCCH resources.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 23
