Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose techniques for transmit power control for multiple antenna transmissions in an uplink.

SOLUTION: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) comprises a circuit configured to receive configuration information from a cellular network. The circuit derives a first HARQ offset value for a single codeword transmission and a second HARQ offset value for multiple codeword transmissions from the received configuration information. The circuit is further configured to receive a signal from the cellular network and the signal indicates whether the WTRU is to transmit a single codeword or multiple codewords. The circuit is further configured to process bits of the single codeword on the basis of the first HARQ offset value or to process bits of the multiple codewords on the basis of the second HARQ offset value on the condition that HARQ information is transmitted in response to the signal.
