Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retransmission protocol in which an average turnaround time for data transmission from a relay node to a network node is reduced as much as possible and a control signaling overhead is reduced to a lowest possible amount.

SOLUTION: A retransmission method according to the present invention includes the steps of: specifying a plurality of subframes usable for data transmission from a relay node 1650 to a network node 1610; selecting on the basis of the specified plurality of subframes the number of HARQ processes which are the processing unit of a hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) from a plurality of choices and transmitting an indicator indicating the selected number of HARQ processes to the relay node; receiving from the relay node a frame including a plurality of subframes in which the number of HARQ processes indicated by the indicator are mapped in order; and retransmitting data in response to the HARQ.
