Abstract  Abstract

Circuit switched fallback (CSFB) requests can be managed. A mobile management entity (MME) can detect one or more outstanding CSFB requests. In response to detecting an outstanding CSFB request, the MME generates a message that informs one or more outstanding CSFB requests, and sends the message to one of the mobile switching center (MSC) and virtual location register (VLR). Can communicate with one another.
