Abstract  Abstract

The display is used to control how message service information is routed through different domains. For example, the access terminal may be configured with an indication that the message service should be called preferentially through the IP domain, or that the message service should not be called through the IP domain. Thereafter, the access terminal distributes the message service information based on the display value. In some cases, the network entity generates a display and sends the display to the access terminal. In some cases, a domain for delivery of message service information is selected based on the domain selected for a particular type of traffic. (Selection) Figure 3
