A method comprising: obtaining, by means of a first radio module (54), traffic or programming information of a second radio module (55) located together in the first radio module in a wireless communication device (53); determine a desired time division multiplexing pattern, TDM, for the first radio module (54) based on traffic or programming information to mitigate the coexistence interference within the device, IDC, with the second radio module (55 ); transmitting and receiving at a base station (51) in a wireless communication system (50) the TDM coexistence pattern information based on the desired TDM pattern, in which the TDM coexistence pattern information comprises a periodicity of Recommended TDM pattern (TlongDRX-Cycle), a programming period (TonDuration), a time offset (T offset) between a first DRX cycle start point and an incoming signal from the second radio module (55); determine at the base station (51) a set of configuration parameters for the first radio module (54) based on the TDM coexistence pattern information to mitigate the coexistence interference within the device, IDC, between the first module of radio (54) and the second radio module (55), characterized in that the configuration parameters are discontinuous reception configuration parameters, DRX, defined in the 3GPP standards 8/9 version of long-term evolution, LTE, and because the method further comprises: transmitting and receiving an IDC interference indication at a base station (51); and restrict flexible expansion to restrict a duration of ON in each DRX cycle to 60 ms to reduce the probability of collision between the first (54) and second (55) radio modules.
