Abstract  Abstract

A terminal apparatus, comprising: a determination section, configured to determine (1602), for each subframe, the power for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission in a first component carrier belonging to a first group of timing advance (TAG), and to determine (1603) the power for the transmission of physical random access channel (PRACH) in a second component carrier belonging to a second TAG, the second TAG being different from the first TAG; a scaling section configured for scaling (1604, 1605), when a total transmission power exceeds a maximum transmitted power configured for the PMAX terminal apparatus, the power for PUSCH transmission being such that the total scaled power of the transmission does not exceed PMAX within a transmission time interval in which simultaneous uplink transmission in the PUSCH and in the PRACH occurs; and a transmission section configured to transmit (1606) a transport block on the PUSCH of the first component carrier in the scaled power for the transmission of the PUSCH, and to transmit a random access preamble charge the PRACH of the second carrier of components in the determined power for the transmission of PRACH.
