Abstract  Abstract

A method of transmitting an uplink resonance reference signal, SRS, for an SRS periodicity of 2 ms in a TDD system for LTE, comprising the steps of: a. calculating a value of nSRS to transmit the SRS; b. determining an SRS frequency domain start position with nSRS (1406), and c. transmit the SRS at the start position of the determined frequency domain (1408), characterized in that, nSRS is calculated by nSRS> = nfxL + k for an SRS periodicity of 2 ms in a TDD system, where nf is the frame number where L is 4 for a TDD 0, 1, 2, or 6 system configuration, and L is 10 2 for a TDD 3, 4, or 5 system configuration, and k is a parameter used to index the token. Single carrier frequency division multiple access, SC-FDMA, which transmits the SRS in a radio frame, taking K values from 0 to 3 for a TDD system configuration 0, 1, 2, and 6 and values of 0 to 1 for a TDD 3, 4, or 5 system configuration, where the K value> = 0 corresponds to the first SC-FDMA symbol to transmit the SRS in the radio frame, the K value> = 1 corresponds to the second SC-FDMA symbol to transmit the SRS in the radio frame, the value K> = 2 corresponds to the third SC-FDMA symbol to transmit the SRS in the radio frame. radio ma, and the value K> = 3 corresponds to the fourth SCFDMA symbol to transmit the SRS in the radio frame.
