Abstract
The invention relates to a registration method and device, a storage medium and a chip. The method comprises: a terminal device sends a first registration request message to a first network function through a first access network device, and determines that the terminal device is successfully registered in a first communication network in response to receiving a first registration acceptance message sent by the first network function through the first access network device. Wherein the first registration request message comprises a first parameter, the first parameter is used for representing that the terminal equipment registers to a plurality of communication networks, the communication networks comprise a first communication network, and the first network function is a network function in the first communication network; the first registration acceptance message is a message sent by the first network function under the condition that the first network function determines that both the terminal device and the first communication network have the capability of supporting the terminal device to register in the plurality of communication networks according to the first registration request message.
