Abstract
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications, networked driving, networked vehicles (IoV), autonomous driving vehicles, and autonomous driving vehicles. More particularly, the present invention relates to sidelink communications and network slicing. The invention provides a control unit (100) for facilitating sidelink communication of at least one slice (101) of a communication network, wherein the control unit (100) is configured to: obtaining at least one of an upper layer requirement (102) and a session requirement (103); and configuring at least one sidelink resource pool (104) for the at least one slice (101) based on the upper layer requirements (102) and/or the session requirements (103).
