the application relates to the technical field of networks, in particular to a method and a device for determining a resource selection mechanism, which are used for solving the problem that service resources occupied by an arriving service packet cannot meet the delay requirement of a service. The method comprises the following steps: determining a service packet to be sent; and determining a mechanism for selecting resources for the service packet according to the maximum transmission delay requirement of the service packet. After determining that the service packet needs to be sent, the embodiment of the application can determine a mechanism for performing resource selection on the service packet according to the maximum sending delay requirement of the service packet, so that the service resource occupied by the arriving service packet can meet the delay requirement of the service.
