Abstract
The invention provides a method for handing over a relay node from a source eNB to a target eNB, an RN and an implementation method thereof. The method for handing over a relay node from a source eNB to a target eNB comprises the steps that a source eNB determines handover of an RN to a target eNB; the source eNB sends a handover instruction to the RN, the handover instruction indicating that the RN will be handed over from a cell of the source eNB service to a cell of the target eNB service; the source eNB sends the target eNB bearer context information for at least one wireless transmitting/receiving unit WTRU connected to a service cell of the RN, wherein the bearer context information includes information that allows the target eNB to accept the RN when the at least one WTRU connected to the service cell of the RN maintains a connection state in the handover period.
