Abstract  Abstract

Various configurations are disclosed for coexistence of D2D or cellular network signals of different CP lengths. In the scheme 1-1, the network configures a specific CP length for a certain D2D channel of all users in a cell; in the scheme 1-2, the network configures a specific CP length for each D2D channel of each user in the cell; in scheme 2-1, the network configures one CP length for each D2D subframe; in schemes 2-2 to 2-4, the system will configure the CP length periodically, for N D2D subframes within the configuration period, the network configures one CP length for each D2D subframe of N-M (M ═ 1, 2) D2D subframes, and for the remaining M (M ═ 1, 2) D2D subframes, the system will multiplex SC-FDMA/OFDM symbols of different length CPs in time division multiplexing, frequency division multiplexing, and time and frequency division multiplexing, respectively; in schemes 2-5, the network configures one CP length for each assigned set of time-frequency physical resources.
