Abstract  Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) and method, and the WTRU comprises a receiver and a processor, which are arranged to receive the paging message from a packet switching(PS) evolution UMTS land evolved universal terrestrial radio access network(E-UTRAN) signalling; under the circumstance that the paging messages comprise international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) and indicated paging messages abot WTRU and a field indicator related to the circuit switching (CS) service, the processor is arranged to send the extended service request message in PS E-UTRAN signalling and perform retreating to the CS service, the IMSI responses the paging messages through the CS service; and under the circumstance that the paging messages comprises an S-TMSI and indicated paging messages about WTRU and the field indicator of the CS service related legal person, the processor is arranged to send the extended service request message in PS E-UTRAN signalling and perform retreating to the CS service, and the CS service responses the paging messages.
