Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims one for carrying out from a source cell to a target cell of high-speed downlink chain shared channel (HS-DSCH) cell change method and a device. Wireless network controller can be wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for pre-loaded HS-DSCH configuration of said target cell. HS-DSCH configuration of a WTRU receiving and a preloaded. The condition that the WTRU may be a 1D trigger the measurement report of low use of preloading for target cell HS-DSCH configuration to start monitoring of a target area of a high speed shared control channel (HS-SCCH). When the WTRU starting monitoring time of the HS-SCCH a said target cell the WTRU can start a timer and the timer expires stop monitoring the HS-SCCH of a target cell.
