Abstract  Abstract

The invention discloses a measurement reporting method and equipment which are applied to a separation bearing network. The method comprises the following steps: UE (User Equipment) receives a measurement event which is configured in a Macro eNB and used for assisting the Macro eNB to perform bearing switchover judgment; the UE measures a cell according to the measurement event for assisting the Macro eNB to perform bearing switchover judgment, and sends measurement reporting information to the Macro eNB when that measurement reporting conditions are met is judged according to measurement results; the user equipment receives bearing switchover information that Macro eNB sends according to the measurement reporting information, and perform bearing switchover according to the bearing switchover information. Through the adoption of the method and the equipment, UE-based measurement reporting can be realized in a separation bearing network architecture.
