Abstract  Abstract

The invention relates to a mobile node, a home agent, and a redirection method which is used to redirect the mobile node by a first home agent selected at the initial connection of the mobile node in an access system for providing a network-based mobility management scheme. The method comprises the following steps: sending an IKEv2 request message, which is used for building a security association with a second home agent and comprises an identification code of the mobile node, to the second home agent from the mobile node when the mobile node is connected with the access system for providing the client-based mobility management scheme; receiving an IKEv2 response message from the second home agent by the mobile node, wherein the IKEv2 response message contains a redirection message of the IP address which is contained in the first home agent; starting to build the security association with the second home agent in the mobile node.
