Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a reference signal processing method in OFDM system which is used to neatly support frequency-domain scheduling and various multi-antenna technologies. The method comprises: the transmitting side inserting common reference signals in the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM signals in the time slot for sending the shared control signaling according to the antenna for transmitting the shared control signaling; the transmitting side inserting user dedicated reference signals in OFDM signals according to the used multi-antenna technologies; the transmitting side transmitting the OFDM signals which comprises the common reference signals and/or user dedicated reference signals; and the receiving side receiving the OFDM signals after which the common reference signals and/or user dedicated signals are extracted. The method can not only be used to support multi-antenna technologies but also can be used to support the frequency-domain scheduling. The invention also claims a communication system.
