Abstract  Abstract

A method for backspacing to the circuit switching domain to establish a voice call is provided. The method includes: the network side transmits an indication for establishing a voice call in the circuit switching domain to the user equipment the indication is used to indicate the user equipment to reselect a cell having the circuit switching domain while a voice call is initiated according to the indication and the voice call is established in the circuit switching domain of the cell. The embodiment of the present invention also discloses a system for backspacing to the circuit switching domain to establish a voice call which can realize the continuity of the users voice call wile the user equipment moves out a cell having the packet switching domain and moves in a cell having the circuit switching domain.
