Abstract
METHOD AND ARCHITECTURE FOR ACCESSING A MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM FOR AN INTERNET PROTOCOL (IMS) OVER URN WIRELESS NETWORK (WLAN). A method and architecture is described for accessing an IMS over WLAN <39> s / WWAN <39> s in general and more particularly over WLAN <39> s / WWAN < 39> s as seen in light of related and currently existing standards. More specifically, the present invention provides a novel interface, which allows IMS access over WLAN <39> s / WWAN <39> s and an example method, in addition to an architecture for such an interface.
