Abstract
The design of the pre-coding and feedback for the open loop and multiple open loop (mimo) and open loop based on user equipment specific reference signals (eu) (ue-rs) is discussed. aspects of the present disclosure provide sub-feature block (rb) random precoding, which allows for greater diversity gain at a lower bandwidth. In addition, recoding can be performed using feature element level (re) layer shifting, which provides numerous precoders to be assigned to numerous layers for each continuous subcarrier of this type. Thus, two codewords can experience the same effective channel quality where channel quality indicators (cqi) are averaged across all layers.
