Abstract
A method of operating a wireless transmission / reception unit (WTRU) and a WTRU configured to receive a radio link control (RLC) / media access control (MAC) header. The header is coded for an operation with reduced transmission time interval (RTTI). The header includes a 16-bit cyclic redundancy check (CRC) of an RLC / MAC load associated with the RLC / MAC header.
